Session yesterday: Lecture Capture (Panopto) - their business model is to provide multiple camera angles at one time and students can choose what they want to view... basically free! No legal backing... but HS and Colleges using it... has potential
Parts of program:A. Live web based video recording of classes
B. School and community wide
What you need - labtop with webcam
Mogulus- another way to stream
make a channel (get an account)
Studio - tab - configured channel - subtab, can manage other accounts - camera only account or full producer access.. can log in with same account 2xs (with one user name you have 2) or can make separate acct w/ student.
Standard delay (2 - 4 seconds)
to get camera to play click cue button - will then show on the right - that is going live on web
Control Autopilot - can run something 24/7... can sequence show to run
Video on Demand - archive lessons, put in right spot, students find lesson they want.
For student - embedded player.
2 interfaces - producer and viewer
What is currently there is from 24/7
student clicks on Demand
find file they want
Do you need an additional labtop? Camcorder? Can you use Cam twist with it?

manage library
recordings folder
it is rendering (also does when ur recording)
once it is done
hit stop
grab and drag into video on demand folder
find the show, drop into the other tab
until it turns pink, you dont have it
tip - turn off embed feature so kids cant do something with it
go to manage library
embed
can embed in moodle too
